Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — A sign in the window of the Walgreens at Menaul and Carlisle advises the public that the location will permanently close Nov. 13th. The store, in the north-eastern part of town, will be the third Walgreens to shutter it’s doors. In late-September, the drug store confirmed the Central and Eubank location would close Nov. 6th, and last year the Walgreens at Central and San Mateo also closed. A spokesperson for the chain has said, that the current model of operation is not sustainable, and closing stores based on profitability is a necessity.
