Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Sunday September 22nd will see the return of the East Mountain Celebration, from noon to 5 p.m. at the Vista Grande Community Center, at 15 La Madera Rd., in Sandia Park. There will be live entertainment, a car show, fire safety activities, food trucks and a beer garden. This year’s event will spotlight “Fire Safety and Awareness” and “First Responder Appreciation,” to celebrate community safety, and honor the vital contributions of first responders. Free parking is available with shuttle service from East Mountain High School and the San Antonio Elementary School.
