Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Keep Rio Rancho Beautiful and the city of Rio Rancho are looking for volunteers to participate in the 2024 Fall Community Cleanup on September 14th, from 7 a.m. till 11 a.m.. Last year, the event, formerly known as “Rally in the Desert” trash cleanup day, saw 127 volunteers remove more than 18 tons of trash from Rio Rancho. The goal for this year’s event is to have at least 500 volunteers remove more than 35 tons of litter from the City of Vision. Supplies will be available to pick up at City Hall from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 11th thru the 13th in the Parks and Recreation office.
