Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — It’s green chile season in the Land of Enchantment , and NMSU’s virtual Green Chile Preservation Workshop will help those looking to makke the most of our green bounty. The free workshops will cover safe home food preservation techniques on drying, canning, freezing, and preserving. The deadline to register is September 30th. Each workshop has a cap of 50 participants, and run from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on October 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd on Zoom. The event is presented by Bernalillo, McKinley, Sandoval, Santa Fe, and Valencia County Family and Consumer Science Cooperative Extension agents.
