Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Hundreds of new jobs coming to New Mexico with the opening of another massive Amazon warehouse. The new fulfillment center is similar to the Albuquerque one the company opened a few years ago. Over a million square feet, the Los Lunas center has a mile-long walk around the perimeter, and with new jobs the retail giant also hopes it means faster New Mexico deliveries. The new facility called “ABQ2” represents the second hub in central New Mexico, along with “ABQ1” on the West Mesa. Amazon says the new facility cost $300 million to build. Adding, that in total, they’ve spent more than $1.6 billion in the entire state.
