Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Albuquerque police are investigating a deadly crash involving a marked Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office vehicle. APD says the crash happened this morning, and the driver of the other vehicle died. It happened on the intersection of Alameda and Edith Blvd shortly after midnight, APD says a BCSO Ford Explorer collided with the rear end of the Honda, and the Honda drove into a wall. The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced deceased on the scene. According to Police, the deputy involved reported that the Honda brake checked them. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
