Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Celebrating the Prickly Pear – you can at the end of next month. Coming up September 27th and 28th — The New Mexico Prickly Pear Festival returns to the Gutierrez Hubbell House . The weekend will be filled with cooking demonstrations, beverage samples, arts, crafts, music, and everything celebrating prickly pear. There’s even a new evening event called Prickly Nights. Festival admission for both days $13 for kids and veterans and $15 for general admission.
