Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Starting Thursday, June 27th Bandelier National Monument is beginning its free summer shuttle service to Frijoles Canyon. The shuttles which boards at the White Rock Visitor Center in nearby White Rock, run every 30 minutes on weekdays and every 20 minutes on weekends. It is a mandatory service from 9 am to 3 pm daily except for those who have a disability placard, traveling with pets or are camping in the backcountry. Visitors will be able to drive into Frijoles Canyon if they arrive before 9 am or after 3 pm. The park’s summer shuttle service is expected to end mid-October. All normal entry fees still apply for entering the park.
