Bonds for projects

Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — It was a unanimous vote by the Albuquerque City Council Monday night. The group voted to authorize the sale of Gross Receipt Tax Improvement Revenue Bonds to secure $22.5 million to fund projects around Albuquerque. That funding will go towards the Southwest Public Safety Center, City Youth Shelters, and the Cibola Loop Multigenerational Center. Other projects receiving funding as well include the Gateway Center, the Westside Emergency Housing Shelter, the Railyards and acquiring a helicopter for the Albuquerque Police Department.
