Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded Thursday morning to a blaze at the Church of the Nazarene. That is located at Los Altos near Central and Eubank. The fire began shortly before 9 in a small courtyard that extended into a building. Crews got the flames under control in ten minutes. No one was injured. There was damage to the building. The ignition is still under investigation. AFR says they have seen a big increase rise in outdoor fires at the start of this year as compared to last year, largely due to the homeless.
