Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — APD’s Fatal Traffic Team is investigating a fatal crash involving a truck that struck a woman in the parking lot of a North Valley gas station Tuesday.
Officers responded to the crash shortly before 1 p.m. to the Love’s Gas Station, located at 2200 6th St., N.W.
Investigators determined a blue Dodge truck was traveling north on 6th St. The truck made a left turn into the parking lot at the gas station. A female in a wheelchair was crossing north through the parking lot. The truck struck the female, knocking her out of her wheel chair. The woman was transported to a hospital where she died as a result of her wounds.
There were no signs of intoxication or speeding.
