Bernalillo County, NM (KKOB) — BernCo’s Juvenile Detention Center is holding a Rapid Hire Job Fair on March 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 5100 Second St. NW. The goal is to meet, interview and hire compassionate individuals interested in making a difference in the lives of young people in the juvenile justice system.
Available positions include Youth Program Officer I and Youth Program Officer II. Both jobs entail supervision, care and treatment of residents who are in custody at the detention center which is also known as the Youth Services Center. Hourly pay is $21.50 and $24.75 per hour, respectively, plus generous benefits and a $5K one-time sign on incentive upon successful completion of a 9-month probationary period.
