City “springing” into action with family programs and events

Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — As the weather starts to warm up, departments across the City are hosting a number of events and programs for kids and families to enjoy. From Spring Break Camps at the BioPark, all day youth programs at local community centers, to Teen Tuesdays, and fun outdoor activities like tennis and pickleball, there is a way for everyone to get out, get active, and connect with their community this season.

“Our City departments work hard all year long to make sure there are fun, interesting things for our families to do,” said Mayor Tim Keller. “Spring is a great time to reconnect with all the great things our city has to offer. Whether it’s an Open Space event for the whole family or a program to keep kids cared for over Spring Break, there are safe, accessible activities for everyone in our community enjoy.”
