Bernalillo County, NM (KKOB) — Bernalillo County Clerk Linda Stover announced the details for the 2024 Primary Election Candidate Filing Day.
For non-statewide and non-federal candidates, Candidate Filing Day will take place on Tuesday, March 12, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The filing location will be the Ken Sanchez Commission Chambers located at Bernalillo County @ Alvarado Square, 415 Silver Ave. SW.
Individuals wishing to file as candidates for the 2024 Primary Election must submit a Declaration of Candidacy to the County Clerk of their residing county (as per Section 1-1-5.9 NMSA 1978 and Section 1-22-7 NMSA 1978).
Members of the public can easily monitor candidate filings by visiting berncoclerk.gov. The link to the list of filing candidates will be prominently featured on the homepage banner for convenient access.
