Ejected from condemned building

Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — February 28th, Bernalillo’s planning and zoning department called police to clear the house at 700 block of Avenida Perea in Bernalillo before boarding it up. P and Z told officers there were some people inside the condemned building. A woman and a man exited the building and were detained. Officers searched the house and found 37 year old Camila Rodriguez hiding in a hole in the first-floor bedroom wall. She was told to exit and didn’t comply until she was told she’d be tased. Rodriguez was charged with breaking and entering because she was the first to enter the house. The other woman was charged with possession, as she admitted to smoking meth. Police found meth in her bag. The man was issued a trespassing citation.
