Manzano Mesa Pickleball

Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — The Albuquerque Pickle Ball Club says they’re thankful to the City for the progress of the Phase Two construction efforts at Manzano Mesa Pickleball Court. They say while the sounds of the building activities at Manzano Mesa may be loud, it’s music to their ears. And here’s why. The City’s Parks and Rec Department began work on 15 new courts, which includes a championship court, and lighting. The target finish date’s May of next year. In addition, when the City receives 2023 state capital outlay funds from the State, the City expects to add the restrooms into this phase of the project. But that’s not all. The City also intends to resurface the existing 18 courts. When it’s all said and done, the Manzano Mesa site will have 33 pickleball courts with bathrooms and lighting.
