Children’s Bill of Rights

Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — Senate Joint Resolution 2, sponsored by State Senator Bill Soules, would create a children’s bill of rights for the state. The resolution, if passed, would assure kids have a right to medical, dental, and behavioral health care, nutritious food, a safe place to live, and a good education. Sen. Soules says the bill would actually serve to place children at the forefront, looking at them as the future of our state. If the resolution clears the legislature, the “Children’s Bill of Rights” would go to the voters for approval.
