Albuquerque, NM (KKOB) — An iconic figure on the Albuquerque basketball scene has been lost with todays death of former Albuquerque Academy basketball coach Mike Brown.
He was a coach at Albuquerque Academy for 26 years, and was selected to the New Mexico Sports Hall of Fame in 2018.
Brown had battled a rare form of Parkinsons Disease, but his sons Greg and Danny will carry on his legacy as basketball coaches themselves.
