DWI Planning Council Vacancy in Bernalillo County
(Albuquerque, N.M.) KKOB — Bernalillo County is looking to fill a vacancy on its DWI Planning Council. The council makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners on prevention, treatment, and law enforcement programs, as well as services and activities designed to reduce DWIs. The DWI Planning Council consists of 12 members who serve in three-year terms. Members are selected for special categories like School Representatives, Liquor Industry Representatives, and those focused on Native American Community and Behavioral Health. The current vacancy is for a member with experience in public health. Meetings are held at 12:30 p.m. on the last Thursday of every other month. The next meeting is Thursday, June 10, 2021.
