Albuquerque, NM (KKOB)–Albuquerque city officials are touting the success of APD’s Metro 15 program. Mayor Tim Keller and Interim Police Chief Harold Medina say 73% of the 51 suspects arrested since November of 2019 are off the streets and no longer committing crimes.
The Metro 15 is a working list of 15 offenders considered to be drivers of crime in Albuquerque. City officials say many of the offenders are juveniles, involved in gang activity, drugs and gun violence.
