Air passenger faces prison time

Albuquerque, NM (KKOB)–A man from Yuba City, California pleads guilty in federal court to assaulting two flight attendants while he was a passenger on a flight from San Diego to Albuquerque.

The New Mexico U.S. Attorneys Office says 43 year old Alton James Johnson admitted that he inappropriately touched and grabbed the flight attendants on December 23rd of 2019. He says he was inebriated at the time, but concedes he was in control of his actions.

Johnson will remain in custody pending sentencing. He faces six months in prison.
