Monitoring the election

Albuquerque, NM (KKOB)–The Bernalillo County D-A’s office says special agents will be stationed throughout the county on election day to monitor voting activities.
Chief Deputy District Attorney Chuck Barth says it’s a fourth degree felony in New Mexico to interfere with an election, or to force someone to vote against their will. He says violations will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
18 early voting sites will open across Bernalillo County on Saturday. They’ll be open Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm. Election Day is November third.
