Another NM school district goes all remote

Las Cruces, NM (KKOB)–Like APS, the Las Cruces Public School District has now decided to continue on-line learning through this semester. According to the Las Cruces Sun-News, the school board voted unanimously on Tuesday to stick with remote learning until at least December 18th.

Back in March, Governor Lujan Grisham declared a public health emergency due to the coronavirus, forcing schools to adopt an on-line curriculum. Some schools were allowed to partially reopen after Labor Day if the county they were in had lower Covid-19 numbers.
