(Albuquerque)-Coronavirus will have the Navajo Nation closed longer than expected. It was to reopen this coming Sunday but has now extended its closure until June 7th. Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez says this is not the time to reopen even though Arizona and others are reopening restaurants and other businesses.
Nez tells KOB-TV they need to see a consistent downward trend before they reopen. The Navajo Nation says it has 41 new cases of coronavirus and one more death as of Tuesday. The new additions take the confirmed deaths up to 103 with a total of 3-thousand-245 cases on coronavirus.
