(Albuquerque)-The falling price of oil means a huge loss of revenue for New Mexico state government…but there is one bright spot. Gasoline prices across the state are at their lowest levels in four years. AAA New Mexico says the statewide average fell by a dime in the past week…to 2-01 a gallon. Albuquerque’s price fell 11 cents to 1-87.
However, the web site Albuquerque-gas-prices.com shows some local stations selling gas for as little as a buck-35.
A AAA New Mexico spokesman says demand for both crude oil and retail gasoline continues to fall as fewer drivers are out on the road.
