Real ID Time Extended for Coronavirus

(Albuquerque)-Those of you with plans to travel during the coronavirus outbreak sweeping the U-S and other nations are affected by how the illness is impacting airports.  One item you’re supposed to have is your Real ID card by October the first.  That’s now been changed by President Trump, who is pushing back the date and deadline to have Real ID cards.  However, he hasn’t set an exact date for having Real ID.

A spokesman for the New Mexico MVD tells Channel 13 News that no other extensions have been made and that the MVD can take only three customers at an office at a time.  That’s how many people will be allowed into the building to take care of their business.
