Federal Charges Filed in Best Choice Inn Arrests

LAST WEEK’S RAID BY THE D-E-A AND OTHER AGENCIES AT THE BEST CHOICE INN ON CENTRAL HAS RESULTED IN FEDERAL CHARGES BEING FILED AGAINST THREE MEN. THE ALBUQUERQUE JOURNAL REPORTS THAT 40 YEAR OLD KAMAL BHULA, 50 YEAR OLD WILLIE HORTON, AND 32 YEAR OLD JONATHAN CRAFT ARE ACCUSED OF SELLING DRUGS AND WOMEN OUT OF THE MOTEL. BHULA WAS REPORTEDLY THE MOTEL’S MANAGER. THE THREE FACE A NUMBER OF CHARGES INCLUDING SEX TRAFFICKING AND CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT MONEY LAUNDERING. AUTHORITIES SAY THE RAID CAPPED A LENGTHY INVESTIGATION.
