Update on Domestic Violence Attempted Murder

WHEN 32 YEAR OLD ALBERT SEDILLO WAS RELEASED FROM JAIL IN ALBUQUERQUE A FEW DAYS AGO, IT APPEARS HE WAS INTENT ON CARRYING-OUT A THREAT TO KILL HIS EX-WIFE. APD OFFICER SIMON DROBIK SAYS THE WOMAN HAD MOVED FROM THEIR HOME BUT SEDILLO FOUND HER AND WENT THERE ON THURSDAY. BUT HE ENDED UP SHOOTING ANOTHER MAN IN THE LEG BEFORE FLEEING.

DROBIK SAYS WHEN HE REACHED A LOCATION IN THE SOUTHWEST PART OF THE CITY HE TOOK OFF IN A VEHICLE THAT HAD ALREADY BEEN PARKED THERE. POLICE USED A SPIKE BELT TO STOP THE SECOND VEHICLE AND SEDILLO WAS ARRESTED. THE WOMAN WAS NOT HURT.
