Drug Bust at Albuquerque Motel

AGENTS WITH THE DRUG ENFORCEMENT ADMINISTRATION WERE LOOKING FOR DRUGS, GUNS AND HUMAN TRAFFICKERS WHEN THEY RAIDED AN ALBUQUERQUE MOTEL FOLLOWING NUMEROUS RECENT OVERDOSE DEATHS THERE. CHANNEL 7 NEWS REPORTS THAT THE D-E-A HAS BEEN INVESTIGATING THE BEST CHOICE INN ON CENTRAL, EAST OF LOUISIANA, DUE TO A HIGH NUMBER OF DEATHS LINKED TO FENTANYL OVERDOSES.

THEY MOVED EVERYONE OUT OF THEIR ROOMS AND BLOCKED ON ENTRY INTO THE MOTEL. THEY THEN SEARCHED ALL THE ROOMS. AT LEAST FIVE PEOPLE ARE REPORTEDLY IN CUSTODY.

THE DEA SAYS THE BEST CHOICE INN HAS BEEN A HOTBED FOR CRIME, AND THAT INCLUDES PEOPLE DEALING FENTANYL AND OXYCONTIN.
