Arrest Made in Crosswalk Vandalism

AN ARREST HAS BEEN MADE IN LAST WEEK’S VANDALISM OF A RAINBOW CROSSWALK IN ALBUQUERQUE’S NOB HILL AREA. POLICE SAY 31 YEAR OLD ANTHONY MORGAN WAS THE LEADER OF A GROUP OF MOTORCYCLISTS WHO DAMAGED THE CROSSWALK, MEANT TO HONOR THE L-G-B-T COMMUNITY.

MORGAN IS CHARGED WITH CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY AND CONSPIRACY. MAYOR TIM KELLER ISSUED A STATEMENT SAYING THE ARREST SENDS A STRONG MESSAGE THAT WE WILL NOT TOLERATE ATTEMPTS TO DIVIDE US.
