Democrat State Senator Joe Cernanted, a veteran of the legislature, is expected to announce Wednesday that he’s running for governor. The Santa Fe New Mexican reports that currently, three other Democrats are in the race, including US Representative Michelle Lujan-Grisham.
Republican US Representative Steve Pearce has not made his intentions clear regarding a run for the Governor’s Office.
