Swamp coolers running constantly and more water for plants. That’s what happens when we have a hot stretch like we’re seeing this week in Albuquerque. And it all adds up to about 10 million gallons of additional water use daily in the metro area. Katherine Yuhas with the Water Utility Authority says, in times like these, it’s especially important not to water during the heat of the day.
