You’re not alone. AAA New Mexico says 3.3 million people in the mountain region, which includes New Mexico, will travel, with the vast majority of them going by automobile. This represents a more than 3% increase over last year. And those motorists will see gas prices that are averaging $2.22 a gallon in New Mexico, down 3 cents from last week. The national average is $2.28, down 4 cents.
