UNM’s Board of Regents approves a new budget for the school. They unanimously approved the 2.9 Billion dollar budget for the next school year. More than 2 Billion dollars of that funding will go to UNM Health Sciences Center which includes not only UNM Hospital, but the Sandoval Regional Medical Center and the Medical School.
KOB TV reports the main campus will get 834 million dollars. UNM faces a one percent drop in state funding.
