The Albuquerque Biopark’s Zoo has a new resident. It’s a baby boy giraffe, born Monday to June, the zoo’s 23-year-old giraffe who’s been at the zoo 22 years. The birth brings the number of giraffes at the Biopark to six.
Another giraffe, Camilla, is pregnant and expected to deliver sometime this October.
If you visit the zoo, you may be able to see the new giraffe as he has access to the public yard. He hasn’t been named yet but mother and son are doing fine.
