A major Spanish art exhibit is coming to New Mexico next year. It’ll show four thousand years of Spanish art at the Albuquerque Museum. The Albuquerque Journal reports that’ll include works by Goya, El Greco, and Velasquez.
There will be 200 pieces in the exhibit, including not only paintings but sculpture, jewelry, fiber, and documents- items that have been on display at Madrid’s El Prado Museum.
The show will be funded by the Albuquerque Museum and its foundation. The total cost of the exhibit has not been made public.
