Last month, a transient who was in the hospital following an accident told Albuquerque Police that he’d killed a man. Now, Frank Frometa has been released from the hospital and booked into the Metro Detention Center on a murder charge.
Court documents show Frometa admitted that he killed Wilfred Salas with a hammer and a piece of concrete following an altercation in late December. The victim’s body was found outside his home near Lomas and Edith.
