She’s been a Bernalillo County Metro Court judge and a District Court judge. Now, Judith Nakamura is New Mexico’s newest chief justice of the State Supreme Court.
She was sworn in on Wednesday in Albuquerque after being elected chief justice by her colleagues. Nakamura replaces Charles Daniels.
