Motorists in Santa Fe County can expect to see more sheriff’s deputies out on patrol. The department says it begins its annual Click-it or Ticket campaign Thursday, June 8th. Other law enforcement efforts include saturation patrols and distracted driving patrols.
The department says the efforts will focus on high volume crash areas, targeting drivers who are now buckled-up or are texting while driving.
