Another development in the investigation of fundraising and spending at UNM’s Athletic Department. The state auditor says he’s now conducting a broader scale special edit of those activities.
Auditor Tim Keller tells the Albuquerque Journal he wrote a letter to Interim UNM President Chaouki Abdallah saying the auditor’s office had gotten information that raised further concerns about the case, with Keller now expanding his probe beyond the 2015 golf junket to Scotland.
Keller says it requires that his office has unlimited access to all papers related to the athletic department’s fundraising and spending.
