The special legislative session has recessed until next Tuesday. Lawmakers Thursday approved and sent to Governor Martinez a package of tax and fee increases, even though the Governor has promised to veto any stand-alone tax hike. When lawmakers reconvene, they’ll address whatever action the Governor takes on legislation passed this week.
