Good news for New Mexico subcontractors who want to work on the Facebook data center to built in Los Lunas: The Albuquerque Journal reports the Oregon based general contractor says it’ll be flexible with the standards imposed on those hired to build the center.
You heard on News Radio KKOB on Tuesday that some of those standards could prevent many local subcontractors from being hired. But Fortis Construction says it’s committed to hiring locally. The standards included experience working on large projects and having and excellent safety record.
