As of Monday, it’s now illegal in Albuquerque to make a threat against schools and any other public place. The measure makes the crime a misdemeanor and includes threats that are made online. Several Albuquerque public schools have received threats via social media. The City Council approved the bill earlier this month and Mayor Berry signed it into law Monday.
