Gas Prices an Advantage This Holiday

All the crude oil out there is making this Thanksgiving Holiday road trip a little less expensive. AAA New Mexico says the global supply of oil is one reason gas prices aren’t rising before this long weekend.

In New Mexico the statewide average is down 5% from the previous week, now at $2.05 a gallon. Last year at this time it was $2.06. Duke City motorists are seeing an average now below $2 a gallon at $1.97, a 4% drop from the previous week.

AAA also says gas prices are expected to move lower as the year comes to an end.
