It looks like 2016 will go down as one of the warmest years ever in New Mexico. National Weather Service meteorologist Kerry Jones says, through October, this year has been the fifth warmest on record in our state. He says two months stand out, July and October, which were both record breakers for warmth. He says we often see warmer than normal temperatures when there’s a lack of precipitation.
