Most of the cast and crew from the movie “Sicario” are returning to New Mexico to film the sequel, “Soldado.” The project brings Benicio del Toro and Josh Brolin back, as they reprise their roles from the Oscar-nominated “Sicario.”
Filming is scheduled from November through January in and around Albuquerque, To’Hajiilee, Laguna Pueblo, Bernalillo, and Algodones. It’s expected to employ around 200 New Mexico crew members, 70 New Mexico actors and stunt performers and about 1,500 New Mexico background talent.
