A 22 year old man is dead in Albuquerque after attending a party in a usually quiet area of Albuquerque near the University of New Mexico early Sunday morning. Albuquerque police say Angel Santana Martinez was shot while playing beer pong at home on Girard north of Central. Police say there was an argument and Martinez was shot.
But there are no witnesses. APD says neighbors tell them they were awakened around 2:30AM by shots, looked outside and saw people running from the home where the party was held. They then head more gunshots.
Martinez died at the hospital. Anyone with information is asked to call 242-COPS or Crimestoppers.
