The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta has released its overview for 2016. The final report shows that fewer people made it out to Balloon Fiesta Park. Estimated attendance was a little over 839,000. That’s a drop of more than 100,000 from last year’s event.
But it still beat the Fiesta’s five year average. There were balloons from 43 states and 19 countries this year. 11 of the Fiesta’s 14 scheduled sessions were successful. The others were cancelled due to weather.
