Look for another Daylight Saving bill to be introduced at the Legislature in Santa Fe next year. State Senator Cliff Pirtle’s measures have failed twice in recent years. But he tells us he’ll propose it again, mainly because the momentum is there and people in his community, Roswell, expect him to re-introduce the bill.
Pirtle says the first bill was to keep New Mexico on Standard Time. He says there was no support for that one. He says more people, including families and outdoor enthusiasts, support staying on Daylight Savings Time
