One of four Tasmanian devils at the Albuquerque Zoo has died. Sylar was said to be coughing and lethargic last Friday. Zoo officials started treatment, but they say he died on Saturday of natural causes.
Tasmanian devils live an average five to seven years in the wild. The other three Tasmanians on loan from Australia to the BioPark since 2013 will remain there.
